This Surreal art print was one of the Another World collections produced during 2020 in the first UK lockdown and is part of Max's response to the pandemic. Inspired by Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein this image suggests that humans are responsible for the creation of their own 'monsters' - when they ignore the balance of the natural world. A monster emerges from the dark recesses of a cave to pose for the camera. His face is made of stone, yet it is also just a stone - How is it that it can be two things at the same time? The graffiti 'X' suggests that the monster is behind glass, maybe an exhibit in a museum.
