With 2 drawers sitting over three, this chest of drawers is of traditional design & is built to last & solid! This piece is solid mahogany throughout, unusually no veneer has been used at all, even the top you will notice is a solid piece & has been cleverly dovetailed to the sides. The original castors sit on turned legs & are in working order. All the original locks are in situ, although sadly the key has been lost in time. The handles are donated from a chest of a similar age & have fabulous wooden screws to hold them in place. We have completely refinished this piece, sanding back to bare wood & applying several coats of Osmo oil to ensure a lasting finish for many years to come.
