Description
Enjoy afternoon tea in style with this V & A Georgian Lilies mug from Richard Brendon. Made in collaboration with the V & A Museum, this collection shines a light on the golden age of Georgian ceramics. Inspired by the classic design from the Worcester and Caughley factories from the late 18th century, the original design was made famous when King George III and Queen Charlotte visited the Worcester porcelain factory in 1788. They placed an order for this particular "Blue Lily" design for their breakfast service and it then became widely known as Royal Lily. Expertly made by master craftspeople in Stoke on Trent, on this mug you'll find whimsical details such as caterpillars and a hidden butterfly. Pair it with more pieces from the collection to stylishly coordinate your table setting. Key features: * Material: bone china * Dimensions: 9x8.5x12.5cm * Inspired by the original Worcester and Caughley design * From the late 18th century * Made famous by King George III and Queen Charlotte * Hand wash only
