Description
Despite its rich history – inspired by a legendary architect and founded in 1952 – Rex Kralj’s timeless wooden furniture has a modern appeal, owing to its simplicity, emphasis on functionality and accomplished craftsmanship. The Mosquito Chair was first designed by Niko Kralj himself in 1953, to resemble the silhouette and lightness of a mosquito – from the wing-like seat with its central join, to the dramatically angled legs. It's inspired by Eames' early moulded plywood experiments, and has a similarly mid-century look that's great for dining rooms and home offices.
