Union Rustic This is a sturdy dining table with a vintage elm wood tabletop and a classic style frame. The table has a great deal of history and soul. The furniture is hand made from recycled wood that can be up to 200 years old. Humidity and temperature cause the wood to contract and expand. Small marks and notches up to 5-6 mm are a natural part of the craft and furniture design. These can increase or decrease depending on weather conditions and the indoor climate, creating a patina that makes notable similar to the other. Included is a wax crayon and spatula for those who want to fill in and colour the notches. But of course, we hope you appreciate the character flaws that make each piece of furniture unique. Every part of the wood has had a past life and purpose; in buildings, doors, windows or in other furniture.
