Royal Air Force A set of 5 diecast models at 1:76 and 1:72 scale to mark the centenary of the formation of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1918, encompassing a Spitfire and groundsupport vehicle designs from the 1940s2000s. Includes a model of Supermarine Spitfire MKI X4590 which flew from June 1940 until August 1944 when it was reserved for preservation; it is now a prized part of the RAF Museum collection. Model 4” tall on plastic stand. Plus a long wheelbase Land Rover Defender in a blue RAF livery with white roof, as used by the 90 Signals Unit; a Land Rover Lightweight Hard Top in dark green RAF livery; a 6wheel Truck FireFighting Airfield Crash Rescue 2 (TACR2) Fire Appliance from St. Mawgan; plus a Bedford QLD general service cargo truck from 1944.
