Riding style The 176 cm Rad Air Tanker gives you the extra length you want on deep powder days and hard slopes. It provides an incredible amount of float and offers you perfect edge grip. This board is perfect for experienced riders looking for a versatile board for high-speed turns on the slopes and in the backcountry. Shape The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail and provides for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. Profile The Tanker comes with a flat camber between the bindings, an early rise rocker in the nose and a rocker in the tail. This makes it easy to ride and provides a lot of float in deep powder while still retaining enough edge grip. Flex The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response. Construction The hand-laid epoxy sandwich construction combined with the lightweight poplar ash core offers you incredible response and pop. Full power and stability are guaranteed. Continuous carbon on the bottom and carbon aramid stringers in the top and bottom provide additional response at a very low weight. The ABS sidewalls dampen vibrations, while the sintered graphite base provides incredible speed.
