The Rab Men's Ascendor Summit Full Zip Hoody has been designed to meet the strenuous demands of winter climbing. Lightweight, warm, and breathable, it is constructed using body-mapped fabrics, optimally positioned for wind resistance and body temperature regulation. This means windproof, water-repellent treated, Pertex Quantum Air on the upper torso, shoulders, and upper arms with sweat-wicking Thermic G fleece in high-heat areas. The details all have long days climbing in mind, with a low-bulk waist that fits seamlessly under a harness, and an under-helmet hood, which also features wind-resistant Pertex Quantum Air overlays over the ears and chin. The zipped chest pocket is accessible when you’re wearing a harness. Elasticated bindings at the cuffs and hem ensure a close fit to trap warmth, while the integrated thumb loops prevent the sleeves from riding up your arms.
