The Marathon Clothing x Puma California Tech Luxe is part of a collaborative collection that honors the late rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was working with the sportswear brand before his untimely death. The California Tech Luxe is a low-top sneaker that features a black and mesh construction with red script accents. It is one of two sneakers featured as part of the larger apparel and footwear collection released posthumously on September 9, 2019. The capsule collection sold out in one day and proceeds went toward the nonprofit Hussle's family established, the Neighborhood Nip Foundation.
