Hamleys has been a steadfast London landmark for over 250 years (impressive huh?) so we think this gives us permission to celebrate London and its many attractions - which is easily done after all! This premium Guardsman Year Bear, boxed in our new heritage print packaging, is a fantastic way to mark a very special 2019 and a wonderful souvenir from yours truly. This Guardsman Bear is looking for a warm and comfortable home in which to spend his twilight years. He has done away with his marching boots (they had a tendency to chafe) but refuses to be parted from his uniform entirely - he has a reputation to uphold after all. Many people don't realise that royal Guardsman are indeed real operational soldiers, as well as ceremonial fanfare; this makes it hard for Mr Guardsman Bear to unwind but, given the right home and plenty of distraction, we are confident hell enjoy his new life.
