Timber Excellence– They only source the finest European slow grown sustainable timber. Tongue and Groove throughout– All Power bike sheds are made from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber. Even the floor and roof are 12mm tongue and groove to give extra strength and durability. Shiplap cladding has the additional feature of a small profile at the top of each board. This little channel allows water to run off the shed quicker than normal tongue and groove. This also helps the shed dry quickly after exposure to rain helping to protect it from any water damage.  Heavy Duty Framing - The framing on this apex bike shed is 44x28mm and rounded at each corner to give a stunning finish. The panels are screwed together and so when joined it creates double strength 44x56mm thick framing.   Galvanised ironmongery – All Power bike sheds come with galvanised hinges turn buttons and door pull so the shed lasts longer and minimises oxidisation. Galvanising is a coat with a protective layer of zinc in order to protect it from rust and other damage. How does the shed come? The shed will arrive on a pallet delivered by their trusted courier. It will be delivered on an 18ton vehicle and a tail lift / pallet truck will unload the pallet. If there are any access problems for an 18ton vehicle (similar to the size of a bin wagon) then please advise us when placing the order so we are able to make alternative arrangements. How easy it is to assemble? Although you will need your own tools (hammer drill spirit level etc) the shed is straight forward to put up. They recommend a two person assembly and you receive full comprehensive instructions with the shed. If you have any issues then get in touch and they can guide you through it over the phone. Is there anything else I need? Yes you will need a firm and level base for the shed to go on. The shed comes with a T&G floor with floor joists on the underside to lift the building off the ground but you will still need something firm and level for it to go on.
