The enclosure poles and net fold down using a pushpin mechanism which also has a little tool to make this even easier. It is made with a solid steel frame, which has been galvanised inside and out for additional protection against rust. The springs used are zinc coated and the jumping mat is UV treated. The bracketry for the frame is secured using Plum's Tramp Klamp System to provide the best stability. The trampoline has been tested to over 1 million bounces which is in excess of EU standards.Plum use Springsafe technology - this covers 2 important safety issues, injury from the springs and injury caused by strain. Plum believe that a spring is the best and safest way to bounce to minimise strain. They have researched long and hard into the type, length material and diameter of the spring to provide the best bounce but also the safest. They have also separated the bouncer from the springs by a net to minimise injury caused by coming into contact with the springs. They are members of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and have been for 15 years, all in order to produce the safest products they can for your child.
