Description
Original vintage rectangular Barbola dressing table mirror on easel stand (free standing). Decorated with hand painted gesso garland of yellow, blue & lilac flowers with a touch of red & green leaves in original soft paint colours. Bevel edged mirror. Brass ball feet. DIMENSIONS: Stands 28.5 cms (11.25) high & 20.5 cms (8) wide. Weighs 1.35 kgs CONDITION: Note some damage to the gesso decoration - the two largest flowers have their lower points missing. There is also a chip to the mirror edge just under the clip on the left hand side facing. There is also some light foxing to one corner. However, all that said, this is a very attractive dressing table mirror & the condition speaks to the age of this mirror which is near 80 years old. Dispatched by Royal Mail from Glasgow, Scotland.
