Description
This non-corrosive batten IP65 fitting has been designed specifically for use with Crompton's range of T8 LED tubes. The batten's anti-vandal design consists of a number of modular components that combine to ensure that the LED tubes it houses remain protected, both from the elements and the damaging effects of vandalism. The fitting's polycarbonate diffuser is attached to the light bulb tray by a series of stainless steel clips that prevent it from being removed, and the tubes exposed. These clips are constructed from type 316 'marine-grade' stainless steel; a famously rugged material with an excellent resistance to corrosion, even from salt water. The light bulb tray itself is constructed from a powder coated ABS compound that protects the fitting as a whole and the tubes inside it from knocks and abrasions.
