The dimmer switch supplied, which can be mounted on the wall or used as a remote control, allows the light to be adjusted to suit any situation, activity, time of day or season. It can be infinitely dimmed and can be adjusted in four lighting recipes pre-installed on the switch. Up to 10 Philips Hue luminaires can be controlled by one dimmer switch. Up to 10 lights can also be controlled via Bluetooth and via the free Bluetooth app from Philips Hue. If there is already a Philips Hue lighting system with a bridge, the spotlight can also be integrated into this system. To do this, the spotlight is added to the system via the function Settings - My lamps - Connect new lights - automatic search of the Philips app. Once this has been done, the light can be controlled via the app using a tablet PC or smartphone - even from a distance, for example to simulate presence through light, even when you are not at home. Special features / compatibility - Controllable with the Hue dimmer switch - dimmable (via app or dimmer switch) - controllable with matching Hue app (ZigBee) and Hue Bluetooth app - compatible with ZigBee-based systems such as Innogy, Bosch, Magenta (Telekom) and Busch-Jäger - intelligent lighting control Option a: ZigBee integration via bridge and router, such as the Philips Hue Bridge (see accessories); this enables local or remote control via Hue app and the option of voice control via Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit (Siri) and Google Assistant - intelligent lighting control Option b: Direct on-site control via Bluetooth with free Hue Bluetooth app. If more than ten lamps are used within the Bluetooth control, the use of a bridge is recommended.
