Description
A versatile pair of binos, the Pentax SP Observation Binoculars are designed for both terrestrial and astronomical use. They feature large fully multicoated 50mm objectives that offer reduced reflections whilst increasing light transmission throughout the optical path, allowing the binoculars to excel in low-light situations. To achieve such a detailed image, Pentax has used a traditional Porro prism that offers enhanced images that are rich with detail and free of impurities. There's a generous eye relief and fold-down eyecups that seal against the ocular cavity to block stray peripheral light which can dim images. Physically, the binos feature a closed bridge configuration, knurled centre focus wheel and protective rubberised armouring with slip-resistant grip, all making for a comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience.
