The system is equipped with a Speed sensor, which automatically engages the motor once you begin pedalling to provide power assistance to your ride. As required by law, the motor will automatically stop assisting you once you achieve a speed of 15.5mph. Head-Unit:The electric motor of the Pendleton Somerby E is controlled via a 3-function LED display –offering Low, Medium or High levels of power-assist. The display / control unit includes an integrated push button to switch between the 3 assistance levels, alongside the power On/Off button.
