&tradition Stackable armchair Beige Wood. Dimensions: H 89cm x L 59cm. A combination of traditional and current modernism for an exceptional seat, designed to overlook the seafront promenade in Denmark... Pavilion was created especially to furnish the Langelinie Pavilion, an historic post-war building. Rebuilt for the third time in 1958 by the architect couple, Eva and Niels Koppel, this pavilion located in the grounds of Kastellet castle, in Copenhagen, pays homage to modernism. With its slender and airy silhouette, the Pavilion stackable armchair blends harmoniously into any interior. Its tubular steel structure is fine and delicate. Combined with a padded wool seat and a backrest in lacquered wood, Pavilion provides elegance, grace in a lightweight design. The designers of this chair, Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, explain that Pavilion has: "a soft aesthetic on the inside, with a silhouette that is all curves, hardly visible".
