24.2MP detail
The S5 captures 24 megapixels of rich detail with a full-frame sensor. Shoot at up to 7 frames per second burst shooting, and create high quality 4K video in all light settings with an expandable ISO range from 50 to 204,800 (extended).
Improved autofocus
Panasonic have updated the autofocus capability of the S5. It can lock onto the face, head, or body of the subject, even when it’s smaller in the frame. And with improved tracking performance too, autofocus stays reliably locked onto moving subjects.
In-body stabilisation
The Lumix range is renowned for in-body image stabilisation. The Dual I.S. II system on the S5 gives you up to 6.5 stops of stability benefit (when combined with a compatible I.S. lens) so your images are always crisp and sharp, even when shooting on the go, and hand-held.
Rich, dynamic 4K video
Record stunningly sharp 4K UHD 10-bit video. It’s capable of recording 4K footage at up to a super-smooth 60/50p motion rate. And with V-Log, its dynamic range is increased for greater colour scope and enhanced contrast and shadow detail for consistently rich, vivid, and more natural imagery.
Shoot by touch screen or viewfinder
Use the full touch capabilities of its 3-inch fully free-angle touch screen (which works in both recording and playback modes), or line up the shot by eye with its super-clear OLED Live Viewfinder. You can apply settings and view how the shot will look in-camera for seamless results.
Tough & customisable design
It’s lighter than the S1, and smaller than the GH5, without compromising on the image quality achieved. A magnesium alloy frame is splash and dust resistant for fully confident shooting in all weathers and outdoor environments. A wide variety of customisable functions and buttons lets you adapt operation to your preferred way of working too.
Get creative
A whole host of features and functions lets you get more creative with your work. Shoot Full HD video at up to 180 frames per second, or in 6K Photo mode at 30 fps. And its Time-lapse mode lets you output stunning 4K time-lapse sequences.
20-60mm Lens included
The versatile Lumix S 20-60mm zoom lens is included, so you can get shooting right out of the box.
