The sensor has been designed to provide stable detection with low power consumption and the unique optics and specialised design give excellent performance, even in harsh environments. A specially developed processor gives strong resistance to noise and reciprocal interference and the sensor has a lens designed to be resistant to oils and coolant liquids.
