Patterned pair of mugs reproducing the striking decorative textile design from c. 1883 ‘Strawberry Thief’ by Morris & Co. In 1861, William Morris (18341896), with a group of friends, started the decorating business providing beautiful, handcrafted products and furnishings for the home. Morris was motivated by the desire to provide affordable "art for all".
