Description
Crystal glass pair of highball glasses decorated in England with a sandblasted design recalling a late 19th century paper silhouette. A technique developed by Benjamin Tilghman in 1870, sandblasting later came to be used for decorating glass with precise and delicate designs. Crystal glass. 5 ¾" tall, 2 ¾" diameter. Capacity 13oz. Should be washed in warm soapy water and dried with a linen cloth.
