Oxford Warmdry high insulation, low bulk, detachable thermal liner prevents wind chill and holds heat against the body to keep you warm and comfortable in cold weather. Warmdry technology is perfect for varied weather conditions where your body temperature needs to be regulated through effective thermal insulation and direct ventilation. Dry2Dry waterproof and breathable Laminate is Oxford's highest performing moisture management system. The fabrics used have been engineered to be durably waterproof, windproof and high breathable in order to maximise protection from the elements, but also allowing water vapor to pass easily from the inside. This will keep the rider dry from the inside and outside - Dry2Dry. All Dry2Dry clothing is fully seam sealed and designed to protect and function in all conditions. The construction of the Jacket also includes Trilaminate Layers - Trilaminate Layer Construction leads to higher abrasion results, stronger seams and significantly better waterproof breathability ratings by incorporating Oxford's highest performing Dry2Dry laminated membrane. The layered construction is made up from a two layer laminate on the top, and Trilaminate with protective backing fabric on the bottom. Trilaminate Layer Construction is highly durable, ultra breathable and reliably waterproof.Polartec Power Grid Technical Fleece has been included - Polartec Power Grid Technical Fleece is a patented grid construction knit which strengthens performance efficiency by increasing warmth and breathability, whilst also reducing fabric mass. These geometric patters improve compressibility, wicking, and add technical style. By reinventing thermal warmth possibilities, Power Grid is a minimalist design that maximises fabric performance. Geometric construction generates targeted touch points for Oxford's patented bi-component design to manage moisture. The next-to-skin surface is hydrophilic to absorb sweat vapour and transfer it outside. Then the outer surface disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability, and reduce fabric mass.The Hinterland Jacket features Active Construction Auto-adjustment Technology. This technology was developed to defy expectations; offering proven durability without movement constraints. Torso / Upper Arm Dynamic Adjusters - Active Construction is concealed in the Hinterland's upper Arm and Torso, providing a tailored fit that adapts to the wear's movement. Trilam Active Stretch - is strategically placed in the Latissimus Dorsi region of the upper back, offering high performance technical stretch in addition to the trilaminate waterproofing. Thermal Later Polartec Power Grid - the Hinterland's flexibility is built from the ground up using Polartec Power Grid stretch fabric in the flanks of the Torso and the Upper Back.For safety, this Jacket has CE protection throughout with a pocket included for a back protector to be added if required. The Jacket has been CE rated AA (prEN17092-3) - The protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).Additional features include Direct Ventilation using a Forearm zip, Torso zip and an upper back exhaust, which will improve comfort for the rider, especially when riding in warmer weather. YKK VISLON AQUAGUARD water resistant zips have been used to help with waterproofing, and there is also reflective print detailing to increase the visibility of the rider in poor, low or night time light riding conditions.
