Modern Rustic Wooden Bench, Floating Live Edge Bench, Warm Wood Bench While we sometimes use lumber salvaged from old buildings we often find ourselves sourcing beautiful walnut slabs from little villages around the country. Trees that have fallen due to storm, age or village ordinance, trees that belong to elderly people that don't have the means to handle them. We're happy to be able to bring you pieces made from real wood while helping out the folks in those remote places. This is a classic design with a massive 5 cm (2) walnut, live-edge top & hairpin steel legs. Elegant & extremely durable, you can leave this one to your grand kids. The bench is finished with bio oils & hand-rubbed beeswax to a smooth & durable finish. The steel legs are welded right here in our shop. They also feature metal inserts at the joints which greatly improves durability & practicality. The legs can be dyed in any shade or left raw & clear coat protected. Customize any of the following: height, size, tabletop thickness & polish, leg design, timber, edge profile.
