Orbea Terra M31eTEAM 1x Gravel Bike 2023 The highly versatile Orbea Terra M31eTEAM 1x Gravel Bike pairs an advanced monocoque OMR carbon frame with an OMR carbon fork that has longer legs and a rounded blade profile, for torsional stiffness, compliance and wide 700c x 45c/650b x 50c tyre clearance. This isn't simply a repurposed road bike, but one designed specifically for gravel adventures, where control and comfort are prioritised, and gravel-specific geometry creates a balanced ride with precise handling. An OC gravel handlebar with a flared design further improves control and the extra width adds leverage when out of the saddle on steep climbs. The frame utilises LOCKR; a storage area inside the downtube with space for an inner tube, pump, CO2 cartridge, tools, or whatever you need, so you can carry more or keep your pockets light. There are mounting points for mudguards and up to three bottles, keeping you protected and hydrated when necessary. The bike is built up with advanced 12-speed electronic components - SRAM Rival eTap AXS - so shifting is incredibly smooth, precise, and actioned via a light touch of the lever, and the 1x system incorporates a wide-ranging cassette. The braking is excellent too, with hydraulic discs working consistently well in all conditions. Strong wheels fitted with 38c Vittoria Terreno Dry Gravel tyres enhance comfort and traction when riding on looser surfaces, and they can be set up tubeless to reap the benefits of lower tyre pressures.
