Orbea Rallon M20 29" Mountain Bike 2021 Designed with the Orbea FOX EWS team in mind, the Orbea Rallon M20 29" Mountain Bike is a no-holds-barred race machine built to tackle the worlds toughest tracks. Fine-tuned for maximum velocity, the Rallon is most at home when pinned on the steeps and thrown around corners. The 29” specific platform delivers stability on technical terrain and works in perfect harmony with the Advanced Dynamics suspension technology, providing a confident and calm ride character. The Orbea Monocoque Race Carbon construction utilises high modulus and high strength fibres to improve the frames stiffness to weight ratio, allowing less material to be used without impacting the bikes strength. A redesigned linkage assembly bumps the rear travel to a burly 160mm and increases the progression for enhanced bottom-out support, improving big-hit performance on drops and inevitable cases. Frame geometry remains unchanged, ensuring not only a descent friendly roomy cockpit and slack head angle, but a steep seat angle for sublime climbing characteristics. For an efficient pedalling platform the frame uses a high main pivot point to reduce unwanted suspension movement. Impressive small bump compliancy promotes grip on rough, chattery terrain, keeping your tyres on the ground to optimise control. With a no-nonsense performance focused build kit, the Orbea Rallon M20 specification balances bling with durability. To keep puzzlers happy, the FOX suspension has an array of adjustments, with the phenomenal DPX2 Performance rear shock being paired with the latest in FOX enduro technology - the 38 Float Performance. With 38mm stanchions, it is stiff and precise through rock gardens, and an all-new lower design increases the negative air chamber size to improve grip. The 12-speed Shimano SLX drivetrain is paired with their M6120 brakes for reliable shifting and braking, and the proven Maxxis DHF/DHR II tyre combo sees unparalleled cornering performance.
