Orbea Onna 50 Mountain Bike 2022 Ideal for a first foray into off-road riding or for use commuting, the Orbea Onna 50 Mountain Bike has front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and trail-ready components. Cables are routed internally through the alloy frame for quiet, low maintenance operation off-road whilst the rack and kickstand mounts will come in handy if the bike is used for city errands or commuting. A 100mm travel suspension helps with comfort and control on bumpy trails or potholed streets and the frame is dropper post ready for when it's time to venture onto more challenging terrain. Wheel size is specific to the frame, with larger bikes getting 29” wheels and smaller sizes using 27.5” so that the ride experience and handling are consistent for every rider. The 2.35” Kenda tyres have sufficient volume to add extra comfort and grip off-road, but will still roll easily on tarmac thanks to their closely spaced lugs. Nice to see at this pricepoint is the use of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for great control and stopping power, with the 2x8-speed drivetrain offering a good range of gears that can cope with flat roads and hilly trails with equal ease.
