The 2022 Orbea Laufey H-LTD Hardtail Mountain Bike is the top ofthe range Laufey. With the speed of a light 29 wheel hardtail and the handlingof a trail focused 140mm long travel bike. The Laufey can be used for all kindsof trail riding.Many long travel hardtails come with a 27.5 wheel whereas theLaufey uses a 29 wheel for greater speed on long fast rides over variedterrain. The trail geometry includes a slacker head angle for great stabilityon steep downhills, longer wheelbase for stability at speed and lower bottombracket for better cornering.The Laufey is built around a hydroformed aluminium frame. Thehydroformed tubing allows the shapes and wall thickness of aluminium tubing tobe manipulated for strength and to remove unwanted flex while saving weight.The chainstay yoke is forged and then CNC finished to give maximum clearanceand rigidity.
