This classic cupsole trainer is made in Oilver Sweeney's specialist factory in Portugal. The upper pattern has clean lines with neatly folded seams and side panels, but with a wealth of comfort features on the inside. The supple calf leather upper is fully lined in calf leather. It includes a cushioned leather insock and we’ve finished the padded topline and tongue with bagged seams to keep it soft and comfortable. Lasted in the traditional way, the upper is then side stitched to a white rubber cupsole.Unlike a vulcanised construction where the sole is baked onto the upper, Oliver Sweeney's cupsoles are made in the traditional way. The upper is lasted to a soft insole, the cupsole is then secured by stitching around the top of the rim to the upper.
