Toulon Design Madison H1 Pistol Putter The Toulon Design Madison is a tour proven classically designed heel toe weighted blade which is best suited for players whose strokes feature a moderate arc and face rotation. Weighting has been a key focus when designing this putter, with Odyssey implementing a new two split-weight design. This design has meant that weight is moved further forward and towards the toe and heel. Because the weight has been moved further forward it has meant that there is an improvement in the inertia of the head, while also helping with the consistency of impact and forward rolling. These factors all help players play with consistent speed and allow for a higher level of performance. This head weighting works hand in hand with the Madison putter being a toe weighted blade as it can provide better distance control and accuracy on longer putts. This choice of putter style also complements the additional weight movement that has been made when creating the multi-material shaft that has been designed. The new shaft features a reduction of 40 grams which has been re-used by placing the weight in other areas to rebalance the putter to allow for improved tempo and consistency in players strokes.
