Description
Oboz Katabatic Low B-DRY Walking Shoes

Speed is your friend with the Oboz Katabatic, as is support, stability, protection, and performance. Oboz have paired their lightest midsole ever with their most breathable B-DRY waterproof membrane ever, for a hiking shoe with an amazing ride that not only keeps feet comfortable mile after mile, but also dry every step of the way.

Abrasion-Resistant Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper has been carefully constructed using specific materials to enhance your walking experience. An abrasion-resistant breathable mesh upper allows cool air to circulate around the shoe to help keep your feet comfortable and creates a perfect climate for when you're deep into the trek. B-DRY is the waterproof technology from Oboz which has been designed to keep everything from getting in but lets all that sweat escape, helping to increase excellent breathability. that is already provided by the Katabatic as the upper also utilises Cordura mesh, which means that there is optimal ventilation. TPU overlays ensure your feet stay well protected and increases stability making it easier to tackle that tough terrain. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to help lock the midfoot to prevent any excessive movement.

O Fit Insole

Oboz have fitted the Katabatic with an O Fit Insole. This insole has low-density EVA pods that provide cushioning and comfort. There is also medium-density EVA throughout and this yields underfoot support without the loss of cushioning so your feet remain comfortable throughout. Engineered to support the arch and put the foot in a neutral position, this purpose-designed technology delivers the kind of fit, feel and performance that you need.

Trail Tread Outsole

Oboz have designed the Trail Tread outsole to provide you with optimal grip and traction on a multitude of surfaces. The outsole is a favourite for hikers, going the extra mile as always giving you a trio of benefits; shedding mud, offering intense traction and maintaining stability the outsole is exactly what every trekker needs. Deep lugs grip those off-camber trails when you need that additional edge whilst also conserving weight.
