Objekto Coffee table White/Grey Stone. Dimensions: 130 x 60 cm x H 33 cm. "Giulio Lazzotti is an Italian architect and designer who has always given a special place to the sculptural aspect of objects. A great lover of marble, his work is modern, combining a sense of craftsmanship and industrial production. The Quattro Cantoni coffee table, designed by Giulio Lazzotti, is a coffee table that is both modern and very elegant. It combines a thick top made from Carrare marble with a colourful lacquered steel base. The modernity of the base contrasts wonderfully with the refined, classic style of the marble top. Deliberately simple in its expression, the table reveals meticulous and original details. The legs snap onto the outer edge of the top, into the triangular slots carved into the marble. This graphical sign affirms the identity of the collection and softens the outline. It was by taking inspiration from the book "Il gioco dei quattro cantoni", written by Gianni Rodari and illustrated by Bruno Munari, that Giulio Lazzotti created this coffee table. ""Quattro Cantoni"" refers to the traditional game for children which consists of five participants running from one corner of a square to another without losing their place. The marble top is their playground, the 4 legs are the children who are playing, or these trees which run in the tale by Rodari."
