Using a clever play of cut-outs, Japanese carpenters and woodworkers interweave the different pieces of wooden without drilling or nailing them. In the Oaki armchair, the joints between the different parts are created so as to be fluid. The four legs that mix straight lines and curves structure the armchair. These four wooden poles rise up over the entire height of the chair, extending onto the backrest to surround it. The Oaki armchair is rich in detail and full of character.
