This top-performing full-suspension electric bike (E-Bike) features 170mm-travel Fox Float Performance suspension (front and rear) and a Shimano STEPS EP8 electric motor drive while rolling on DT Swiss H1900 Spline wheels wrapped in Tubeless Ready Maxxis Wide Trail rubber. Plus, Nukeproof has fitted it with a 12-Speed Shimano SLX groupset with a 10-51 Tooth wide-ranging cassette, 4-Pot SLX hydraulic disc brakes and a Brand X dropper seatpost. Shimano STEPS EP8 Electric Motor Drive So, when Shimano approached Nukeproof over two years ago with their latest STEPS EP8 system motor technology, they knew that the time had come. Development of the Mega V4 was about to start, presenting the perfect pairing for their first foray into E-Bikes. Whilst all Nukeproof bikes have been designed with the focus on descending performance, no new Nukeproof has had more to live up in this area, than the Mega V4. Introducing the Megawatt: A Mega V4 with an engine. Designed so you can maximise the amount of time spent descending by getting you back to the top faster, again and again (and again). 29" Front and 27.5" Rear Mixed Wheel Size Platform The Megawatt Shares the race-proven geometry of the Nukeproof Mega, but in an all-new mixed wheel size platform. A 29” wheel up front to maximise rolling efficiency with a 27.5” wheel out back. This allows for the bike to run shorter chainstays and ensure the Megawatt whips around even the tightest of Alpine trail whilst stays stable attacking any rough terrain. The rear chainstays also benefit from 3D moulded chain guard to keep the frame protected and running quiet allowing you to concentrate on the trail ahead. The Megawatt is offered in Size Small through to XXL and shares Nukeproof’s “saddle offset” philosophy with the Mega. Steeper seat angles offered on larger sizes to optimise the riding position and maximise comfort and efficiency.
