Nukeproof's best selling bike has lived up to expectations once in again in 2022. The Nukeproof Mega 297 Elite 2022 Carbon Full Sus MTB boasts 4 Enduro World Series titles. The endless quality of the Mega 297 will allow you to put minutes into your opponents and reach that top step of the podium. The MTB has been constructed with a T700/800 UD woven carbon fibre frameset which optimises weight, stiffness and strength so that you can power out of the corners and up the climbs. New carbon swingarms also help to minimise the unsprung weight at the bike's rear. The frame's geometry has also been optimised. New suspension Kinematics have been made to be more subtle off the top, whilst remaining progressive and predictable. Furthermore, anti-squat enhances efficiency when taking on technical terrain. Working alongside the frame is a Fox 38 Float 170mm front fork and Fox Float X2 230mm rear shock which allow you to float over rugged terrain and hit new speeds when descending. The descending experience has been futher optimised with the addition of Shimano SLX M7120 hydraulic disc brakes which offer strong braking performance in the dry and the wet. Furthermore, a dropper seatpost allows you to lower your centre of gravity so that you can take corners at high speed. The MTB also features a 29” wheel up front which offers low rolling resistance and excellent grip, whilst a 27.5" wheel at the rear offers suberb handling and lots of clearance. The Mega wouldn't be complete without the addition of a 12 speed Shimano SLX M7100 groupset which offers precise and responsive transmission so that all you have to worry about is the terrain ahead.
