Ideal for riders looking to take on new trails and challenge themselves on complex terrain, the Nukeproof Mega 290 Pro 2022 Alloy Full Sus MTB features a lightweight alloy frame, quality full suspension system and many other excellent and innovative features. The Mega 290 has been constructed with a hydroformed 6061-T6 triple-butted aluminium frame which offers excellent stiffness so that you can power up the climbs. The frame has been designed with new suspension Kinematics that have been made to be more subtle off the top, while remaining progressive and predictable. Meanwhile, Anti-Squat has been used to help optimise efficiency when riding over challenging terrain. Working alongside the frame is a full-suspension system. The RockShox ZEB Select + Charger 2.1 RC 170mm front fork and RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ RT rear shock work together to absorb heavy impacts so that you can glide over rugged terrain and descend with control. Quality is present on every inch of the Nukeproof. A 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle groupset provides crisp and precise transmission, whilst SRAM Guide hydraulic disc brakes boast strong and powerful braking in both the dry and the wet.
