The 250g polyester parasol canopy offers plenty of sun protection as it has a UV rating of 50+. Plus, it is specially treated with a PA waterproof coating, meaning you can leave it outside in all weather. The parasol can be fully closed and we do recommend it is kept closed in windy conditions.
