Here is a reissue of the famous Butterfly wall light created in 1964 by Norwegian designer Sven Ivar Dysthe. This metal wall light is made up of 3 nested cylindrical elements. Characterised by its iconic winged shape, the original version gave rise to a new model made of perforated metal. Overlapping perforated panels diffuse light through the openwork surface to create unique, vibrant lighting. Like a butterfly, the body of the wall light projects light towards the two wings which reflect it, thus creating a play of poetic, indirect light.
