Description
About the Norco Optic C2The 2020 Optic is the bike that so many of our team riders, friends and staff were begging for: an aggressive short-travel sled that absolutely rips on descents but can get back up without a gondola. With 125mm of DH-inspired rear suspension, and 140mm travel up front, the totally re-imagined Optic embodies Norco's progressive design and handling that will provide clarity when your vision starts to blur from the speed, or your over-active tear ducts. Key Features Progressive Design: The Optic uses Norco's holistic approach to fit, geometry and suspension kinematics to achieve its playfully aggressive personality. The unique combination of our next generation of Gravity Tune, longer reach, slacker head tube angle and steep seat tube angle provides a more forward weight distribution within a longer wheelbase. This allows more powerful pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending so you can confidently attack the trail. Fully Custom Suspension: We created the Optic's suspension design around a very specific shock, with spring and damper characteristics that would help define its ride. Unfortunately, that shock didn't exist, so we asked Rock Shox to build us a fully customized Super Deluxe Ultimate DH rear shock with everything we were looking for, and they delivered! We liked it so much, in fact, that we put it on every Optic in the line! High Speed Fun By Design: By relaxing the Optic's head angle to 65 degrees for stability, we fine-tuned the handling with reduced-offset forks - providing even more high-speed precision and predictability for a more aggressive trail attack. Equipped To Descend: To bolster the Optic's descending prowess, each bike is equipped with 4-piston disc brakes, shorter seat tubes, longstroke dropper posts and aggressive knobby tires. About Norco With roots firmly planted in the world-class testing ground that is British Columbia, Canada, Norco bikes has grown into a global com
