Description
Nipoaloha - Jakuchu Ito's famed 1761 painting Old Pine Tree and Peacock forms the print of Nipoaloha's brown shorts - birds were a favourite subject matter for the Edo-period artist and intellectual. They're crafted from lustrous silk twill that's jacquard woven with a floral motif and wavy lines, then are accented with a drawstring waist, front pleats and jetted back pockets.
