Utilising new tricks and feats, play as your favourite Nintendo character in either competitive tournaments or explore the single player story mode! The inclusion of single player adds a story mode for the first time since Mario Tennis: Power Tour on the Game Boy Advance, complete with an extensive variety of missions, boss fights and more. Featuring both offline and online multiplayer, you can play a match with friends or other players, up to four players, and compete in events and online tournaments, which will be held on a frequent basis. There’s also Swing mode, which allows you to use your Joy-Con like a tennis racket. This mode is perfect when you want to play the game casually with your friends and family, or just to get your body moving.
