Contradicting his usual deconstructive design style, Abloh takes a more maximalist approach to the design of the Nike Air Rubber Dunk Off White University Blue. Drawing inspiration from the classic Nike Dunk and Nike Pegasus silhouettes of the â90s and giving them a modern futuristic twist. Featuring a gum rubber sole alongside the exposed cushioning guaranteed comfort with every wear, the striking combination of metallic silver uppers and UNC University Blue elements are offset by the bright orange accents of the tabs and the Nike x Off White signature zip tie. Abloh adds his Helvetica branding synonymous to his Off White x Nike collabs resulting in a nostalgic yet contemporary sneaker.
