Description
This silhouette was a high-performance track shoe in the 1970s; the Nike Waffle Crater applies an interplanetary remodelling to the classic. Contemporary Waffle Racer releases have transitioned into a more casual trainer; this release comes kitted out with eco-friendly materials as part of Nike's "Move to Zero" initiative. 'Crater Foam' replaces the usual rubber sole; the trainer's renowned waffle outsole remains, this time it's made from Nike Grind rubber for an environmentally-conscious finish. Stitching takes over both sidewalls and links up with the usual Nike Swooshes that loop around both sidewalls. Up top, Nike branding is on the tongue, also appearing on the heel, adding an authentic touch to the forward-thinking design. CT1983-100
