The Stussy x Nike Huarache Run LE TD “Desert Oak” is the toddler sizing of the February 2021 re-issue of the first-ever shoe collaboration between the California based streetwear brand and Nike. Immeasurably influential on streetwear culture at-large, the Stussy and Nike partnership began in 2000 when Stussy designed two lifestyle colorways of the Air Huarache for Nike. The designs are some of the earliest instances of the pairing of streetwear and sportswear cultures. The modern re-release retains the “OG” design with tan neoprene fabric on the toe, mid-panel, and heel. The model gets its name from the Desert Oak shade of brown found on the nubuck overlays on the upper. Elsewhere, olive green and tan accent the Huarache’s signature heel counter. A red Huarache logo appears on the grey neoprene tongue and a cream foam outsole finishes off the look. Release date: February 18, 2021.
