The Nike Dunk Low “North Carolina A&T” is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that honors the Historically Black College and University. The “North Carolina A&T” Dunk Low was designed by student Arial Robinson, who is studying multimedia journalism at the university. The colorway is one of several inspired by Historically Black Colleges and Universities, joining Dunks made up in the honor of FAMU, Clark Atlanta, and Tennessee State. The “North Carolina A&T” features a mismatched color block with grey and leather panels on its design. A black leather Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. Branding specific to the university, including “1891” on the heel, “FROM GREENSBORO, WITH LOVE” on the yellow laces, and a North Carolina A&T logo on the tongue, all contribute to the shoe’s unique design.
