Nike brings a late-‘70s icon into today, updating the Daybreak with new materials while retaining its original essence and charm. The fast-looking wedge shape remains, as does the supportive suede at the toe, heel and eyelets, but the usual nylon sidewalls have been replaced with a transparent TPU – something usually reserved for the most high-tech runners in the Beaverton brand’s lineup.
