After five decades and many iterations, the emblematic Nike Cortez remains mostly unchanged in appearance, but its runner history will forever be cemented within Nike's heritage. We couldn't wait to get to work on Bill Bowerman's design giving it that ?exclusive touch. Keeping the similar design lines as the '72 except with a slightly newer shape, we've kept to its minimal uppers, bold insignias, and tacky soles, but just opted for a perforated suede upgrade. Vintage tooling and classic script from the original Cortez advert appears on the reverse of the tongue label which is something you really get to admire in hand too. FD0653-001
