Description
The Nike Blazer Mid Infinite “Iron Grey” gives a modern look to the brand’s first-ever performance basketball shoe. The Blazer debuted on the feet of some of basketball’s top talent in the middle of the ‘70s before quickly becoming indoctrinated as a skate shoe and, later on, a lifestyle design. Here, adding “Infinite” to the Blazer’s product title signifies a shift in design to a more contemporary and streamlined look that includes a white tumbled leather upper with cut-out, grayscale rubber Swooshes on both sides. The same futuristic effect is applied to the overlay on the forefoot and on the heel. Though future-forward in more than one way, the “Iron Grey” retains the model’s old school “Nike” branding on the heel. A black “Nike” logo with a Swoosh is printed on the white tag stitched onto the cream nylon tongue. Like many Blazers, the Blazer Mid Infinite dons a vulcanized rubber midsole.
