The Nike Air Penny 2 “Photon Dust” is a casual and versatile colorway of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s second signature shoe with Nike. Worn by Penny with the Orlando Magic back in the mid-1990s, the Air Penny 2 was brought back as a lifestyle sneaker in the 2020s thanks to several collaborations and easy-wearing colorways, like the “Photon Dust. ” The shoe features a white tumbled leather upper with a Photon Dust nubuck overlay, all contrasted with black piping. Penny’s signature “1-Cent” branding appears on the collar and on the tongue. Classic Swoosh detailing is found on the heel. Nike’s Zoom Air cushioning technology is embedded in the forefoot of the cream midsole and an Air unit is encapsulated within the heel. Release date: March 1, 2023
