In ‘87 Tinker Hatfield was roaming around NYC when he discovered an ostrich skin covered sofa at a furniture store, the inspiration that turned an experience into a reality and the inception of what would go on to become of Nike's most iconic prints of all time. The Safari print resurfaces on this women’s exclusive Nike Air Max 95, which by the looks of things is setting off on an expedition. Coconut Milk and Banana go hand in hand with mixed mesh, fuzzy laces and mustard suede toes. Cladding this cultural icon sneaker is layered suede side panels, the speckled Safari print in a ombre of gradient tones. Rounding off the design is a foamy white sole housing the all-important visible Nike Air units and an earthy brown outsole, tying in with the Swoosh at the heel.
